Replace weak resume verbs with stronger, truer ones

Content Creation Any AI tool beginner

Upgrades limp resume verbs to specific ones that match what you actually did - no thesaurus inflation.

When to use it: When every bullet starts with 'responsible for' or 'helped with' and the resume undersells work that was genuinely yours.
You are a resume editor upgrading verbs. The right verb is the strongest one that is still TRUE - "spearheaded" on a task you were assigned reads as inflation to any interviewer who probes.

Inputs:
- MY BULLETS: [paste the resume bullets to upgrade]
- WHAT I ACTUALLY DID: [for any bullet where the verb undersells or oversells, one honest line - e.g. "I didn't run the project but I built the tracker everyone used"]
- TARGET ROLE (optional): [paste the ad so verb choices can echo its language]

Before suggesting, classify each bullet's current verb: passive filler ("responsible for", "involved in", "helped with"), vague ("managed", "handled", "worked on"), or already strong. Only the first two classes get upgraded.

Requirements:
1. For each weak verb, offer 2-3 stronger options RANKED BY ACCURACY to what I actually did - with a half-line note on the difference in claim size (e.g. "led = you owned it; coordinated = you organised others; contributed = you were one of several").
2. Match verb to action type: built/wrote/designed for creation, negotiated/persuaded for influence, cut/saved/lifted for results, maintained/kept for reliability work (undervalued but honest).
3. Where the ad was provided, prefer accurate verbs that echo its vocabulary.
4. Flag any bullet where the verb is not the problem - a missing result or number is - and say what is missing instead of polishing the verb.
5. Ban list applied: no "spearheaded/revolutionised/transformed" unless my honest note supports initiative or scale; no verb repeated more than twice across the resume.

Output: a table (original bullet -> verb class -> ranked replacements + claim-size notes) -> the not-a-verb-problem list -> the 5 best rewritten bullets in full.

Grounding: accuracy outranks impressiveness every time; where you cannot tell what I actually did, ask - never pick the grander verb by default.
