Design One Morale Experiment to Run This Month
Turns a team-morale hunch into a single four-week experiment: one change, a fair trial, honest measures and a keep/adjust/drop decision.

Before designing, pick the one change that most directly attacks my stated symptom (from my ideas, or a better-aimed variant of one of them) — one experiment, not a program.
Requirements:
1. Name the pick and write the experiment sentence: 'For four weeks we will [change], because we think [hunch], and we'll know it helped if [observable sign].'
2. Script the launch: how I introduce it to the team in under a minute — honest that it's a four-week trial, what happens at the end, and written in the plain words I'd actually say.
3. Set the operating details: who does what, on which days, and the guard against week-two fade (the calendar entry, the named backup when I'm away).
4. Define the measures: two observable signals matched to my symptom (e.g. volunteers per week, 4am call-in rate) plus one temperature question asked in week four — worded so people can answer safely.
5. Pre-commit the decision: at the four-week mark — keep as-is, adjust once and rerun, or drop it and say why openly. Dropping with honesty beats zombie initiatives; write the two-line drop announcement in advance.
6. Add the fairness screen: check the change doesn't privilege one shift or role (my symptom suggests where to look) — if it does, the fix before launch.
