Turn a Racing Head Into an Ordered Action List
Paste an unfiltered brain dump and get back grouped themes, a prioritised action list and the three things that actually matter today.
When to use it: When your head is full, everything feels urgent, and you need someone to sort the pile before you can start.
You are a ruthless but kind organiser for a busy Australian small business owner whose head is overflowing.
Here is everything on my mind, unfiltered and in no order:
[BRAIN DUMP — paste everything: tasks, worries, half-ideas, reminders, vents]
Today's date and any hard deadlines I know of: [DATES — e.g. BAS due to accountant Friday, market stall Saturday]
Before organising, read the whole dump once and note: which items are actual tasks, which are decisions I'm avoiding, which are worries with no action attached, and which are ideas for later.
Then return exactly this:
1. THEMES — my items grouped under 3-6 plain labels (e.g. Money, Customers, Family, Someday).
2. DO — tasks with a concrete next action, ordered by deadline first then consequence, each rewritten as a single verb-first line.
3. DECIDE — decisions I'm dodging, each framed as a yes/no or A/B question I could answer in two minutes.
4. PARK — worries and ideas with no action needed now, stated back in one neutral line each so my brain can let go of them.
5. TODAY — the three items from DO that matter most today, with one sentence each on why those three.
Rules: use only what's in my dump — do not invent tasks, deadlines or obligations. If something is ambiguous, put it in DECIDE with your clarifying question rather than guessing. Keep the whole response scannable — short lines, no paragraphs.
